Commitment to Hair Restoration Excellence and Safety
The American Society of Aesthetic and Hair Restoration Surgeons (ASAHRS) is a professional society dedicated to advancing safe, ethical, and aesthetically refined hair restoration and aesthetic surgery worldwide.
ASAHRS Board Certification is awarded to physicians who demonstrate proficiency through rigorous, multi-step assessment—including comprehensive written and oral examinations—designed to evaluate clinical judgment, patient safety, and aesthetic sensibility in hair restoration surgery. These assessments are structured to reliably distinguish practitioners whose standards align with evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Graduates who meet all requirements are granted the ASAHRS Board-Certified Credential; those pursuing advanced scholarship and contribution to the field may further qualify for Fellowship (F-ASAHRS) through the ASAHRS pathway.
